Eye infection is one of the most common eye problems. This infection can be caused by bacteria (bacteria), virus (virus), fungus (fungal) or any other type. There is no specific age for the onset of this disease and it can also affect both the eyes at the same time. Along with this it can easily happen from one person to another.

What is eye infection?

-Lumps behind the eyelashes or in the hairs of the eyelashes.

Prevention Tips for Eye Infection

To avoid eye infection, these things should be kept in mind-

Keep washing your hands thoroughly frequently.

Do not share your towels, handkerchiefs and eye drops with anyone as it can spread the infection to the other person as well.

Keep the eyes away from strong sunlight and dusty environment.

Do not rub your eyes with your hands and do not touch your eyes with dirty hands.

Do not let the eyes come in contact with any irritating substance like smoke or strong smell of chemicals.

Wear dark glasses while going out.

Do not use contact lens.
Eye infection can be prevented even after making changes in lifestyle and diet-

For healthy eyes, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, especially seasonal fruits and vegetables.

A diet that is high in fat and sugar can be harmful to the eyes, so do not consume such foods in excess.

Include essential fats in the diet such as omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for eye health. It is found in flax seeds, walnuts, peanuts and fish.
