 Hawaiian Airlines: Turbulence on a flight to Hawaii caused 36 injuries

Hawaiian Airlines: On a Hawaiian Airlines aircraft from Phoenix to Honolulu on Sunday, there were at least 36 passengers wounded, and 20 of those passengers were brought to emergency rooms.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services received eleven individuals who were in critical condition. A 14-month-old baby was one among the patients that were taken to the hospital.
Guests and crew members received minor injury treatment at the airport, and some were quickly taken to nearby hospitals for additional care, according to a tweet from Hawaiian Airlines.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services informs about the loss suffered by individuals

According to the Honolulu Emergency Medical Services, individuals suffered major head injuries, lacerations, bruises, and loss of consciousness.

Thirty minutes before the jet touched down in Honolulu, there was turbulence. According to Hawaiian Airlines, the aircraft, which had 278 passengers and 10 crew members, made a safe landing in Honolulu at around 10.50 a.m.

At the time of the event, Oahu and locations that would have included the flight path were under a weather alert for thunderstorms, according to Thomas Vaughan, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Honolulu.
