Prominent opposition figures, including Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, shared the clip on 'X' (formerly Twitter), calling for action. Akhilesh Yadav condemned the act, urging the Election Commission to take serious measures. He remarked, "If the Election Commission feels that this is wrong then it must take some action. Otherwise, the BJP’s booth committee is actually a loot committee." Rinwa said that re-election at the impacted polling place had been suggested to the Election Commission of India (ECI) following Rajan Singh's arrest.
