Viral Video: Burqa-Clad Thieves Attempt Daylight Robbery in Hyderabad, Chilling Footage Shocks Viewers

Viral Video: A jeweller in Medchal, Hyderabad, heroically fought off two thieves, one of whom was wearing a burqa, in a startling event that was captured on video. The dramatic Thursday afternoon incident, which showcased the bravery of the store owner and his son, went viral.

Robbers Target Jewellery Shop

About 1:45 pm, the robbery attempt was carried out. Two males stormed inside the store, one with a helmet and the other with a burqa covering their faces. Sesharam, the proprietor of the store, was stabbed in the shoulder by the burqa-wearing guy who came at him. Meanwhile, his accomplice tried to take money and valuables.

Sesharam and his son Suresh stood their ground in the face of the assault. Despite his wound, Sesharam moved quickly. As the thieves were forced to give up their robbery, Suresh's cry for aid reverberated across the neighbourhood.

Robbers Flee Empty-Handed

The disturbance caused by Suresh, along with Sesharam's endeavour to pursue the escaping individuals, proved to be much for the robbers. Riding a motorbike, they made their escape, vanishing before the cops could find them and left the stolen items behind.

Investigation Underway

The event raises questions about the area's security because it happened just 25 metres from a police station. Sadly, ongoing construction had resulted in the removal of CCTV cameras, making it more difficult to identify the offenders. Additionally, the thieves wore gloves, which removed any fingerprint evidence.
