Viral News: It is said that a woman in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, fled her husband's house when he declined to buy her a pack of puffcorn snacks, or Kurkure.

Dependency on Kurkure

The details stated that the woman was dependent on her husband to bring her a pack of Kurkure every day because she was addicted to eating them. But one day, after a fight, she left his house because he had forgotten to buy the snack. It has been reported that the woman has spent a month and a half living at her paternal home.

Police Intervention

When they later went to the police, the woman claimed that her husband had physically abused her and she had left his house for the same reason. The man did, however, take issue with his wife's constant insistence on snacks. The couple received counseling at a family counseling center after their case was referred there.

After a few days, the husband and wife were asked to come back for another session. The woman's undue affection for Kurkure, which seemed to be the source of their argument, was observed by the counselor, who offered his observations on the subject. The wife used to demand a packet of Kurkure worth five rupees from her husband every day when he got home from work after they were married in 2023.
