She misidentified Tejashwi Yadav and BJP MP Tejasvi Surya while criticising the head of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on an odd subject.

The Viral Mix-Up

Kangana Ranaut mocked the opposition by calling them "spoilt shehzaadas" (princes) during her speech at the Mandi rally. She accused Tejasvi Surya of hooliganism and fish-loving in her speech, misattributing activities to him. In reality, Tejashwi Yadav was the target of this statement because he had lately been under fire for a video that appeared to show him consuming fried fish during Navratri.

Reactions and Fallout

After Ranaut's gaffe went viral on social media, Tejashwi Yadav shared the video on X and joked, asking, "Ye mohtarma kaun hai (Who is this madam)?"

In addition to this error, Kangana Ranaut's rally was characterised by her harsh criticism of the Congress, which included late leaders, leading the party to lodge a protest with the Election Commission.
