Maulana Madani acknowledges this belief. He says many people think Muslims are at risk. However, he points out that there are challenges on both sides. He explains that political agendas often shape how people view these issues. He states, "Can you ever imagine that Hindus and Hindutva are in danger in this country? It's all a narrative created to scare people." According to him, this kind of talk is used to mobilize people. It creates tension and fear in communities. Maulana Madani Highlights Mob Lynching Incidents The Maulana pointed out the alarming increase in violent incidents, particularly mob lynchings, as a significant concern. He referenced recent cases in Haryana, stating, "People’s patience has decreased. This isn't just about Hindus or Muslims; it affects everyone." The escalation of violence over minor issues highlights a growing societal problem where anger often turns deadly. The Role of PM Modi’s Government in Violence When asked about the role of the government in these incidents, Maulana Madani clarified that the responsibility often lies with state governments rather than the central government. He stated, "Riots or no riots depend on the state governments," suggesting that while PM Modi's administration may not be directly responsible for every violent act, the political climate can influence state actions. Furthermore, when questioned about mob lynching, he emphasized that he does not hold Modi accountable for these acts. NRC and the Muslim Identity A significant point raised during the podcast was the National Register of Citizens (NRC). Maulana Madani stated that the NRC must be implemented "under any circumstance." When asked about the Indian Constitution, he responded, "We had an agreement, and we chose India based on that agreement." However, he remained silent when questioned about the Constitution's existence in 1947. Keep watching our Channel ‘DNP INDIA’.
