This unhygienic prank has brought up massive criticism in Japan which is always known for its cleanliness. In one of the most viewed videos, a teenage boy lick off the top of a communal soy sauce bottle directly from the conveyor belt. One of the videos was filmed at a branch of the Sushiro chain in Japan city of Gifu. Sushiro chain has also filed an official police complaint after the videos went viral. Official apology In a statement, Sushiro said the teen behind the viral video had apologised, along with his parents, but that the firm had filed a formal police complaint.
