Viral video: Taking selfies prove fatal! Woman swept away by tidal waves in Mumbai, watch

Viral Video: Nowadays taking selfies has become quite trending. People do not forget to take a selfie before doing anything new or good. But selfies have also put people in trouble many times. This time a woman lost her life while taking a selfie. A heart-wrenching video is going viral on Instagram in which a woman named Jyoti Sonar and her husband were trying to take a selfie while sitting on a rock at the beach. Suddenly the couple is struck by a massive wave and Jyoti is swept away.

This incident took place in Mumbai when Jyoti Sonar had reached Bandra with her husband and children for a picnic. After reaching Bandra Fort, the couple went near the sea to click photos. Jyoti and her husband were sitting on a rock taking pictures and their children were watching from a distance. Suddenly a huge wave hit them and carried Jyoti away with it. At the end of the video the children can be heard screaming 'Mummy' which is extremely painful.

A search and rescue operation was initiated to find Jyoti Sonar and her body was recovered after a lot of effort. After that, Jyoti's body was handed over to the police.
