NATION Stalker pushes 20-year old college girl to death in front of moving train Madhulika Singh Oct 13, 2022 16:11 GMT Stalker kills woman: In a horrific incident, a 20-year old college student died on Thursday morning in Chennai when a man who was stalking her, pushed her in front of a moving train. She died on the railway track. The stalker escaped from the spot after committing the crime. The woman was identified as Sathya, a resident of Adambakkam. Read This Fit of rage The accused, Sathish, had reportedly been stalking Sathya and he had stopped to talk with her at Saint Thomas Mount railway station. The girl resisted and this resulted in an argument between them. In a fit of rage, Sathish allegedly pushed Sathya before a moving train. Before the shocked commuters could react, Sathya was found dead on the track with her head smashed into pieces. Sathish escaped from the spot before the Railway police could arrive and nab him. The accused was absconding till the filing of this report and further investigations were underway. The police formed two special teams to nab the accused. In a similar case at Nungambakkam railway station on June 24, 2016, Swathi, an employee of Infosys, was hacked to death by her stalker in broad daylight. After the murder, Swathi’s body remained unattended for over an hour till the police arrived at the spot and started the investigation.
