Truecaller unveils AI-enabled call recording feature in India, what you must know

Truecaller: Truecaller, a Swedish caller identification software, revealed on Monday that its AI-powered call recording feature, which provides transcription and conversation summary, is now available in India. The business stated that AI call recording is a premium feature that would be accessible with a Truecaller Premium subscription and that it functions flawlessly on both iOS and Android smartphones.

With the latest update, users may now record both incoming and outgoing calls right from within the Truecaller application. This provides a practical and effective method for managing and logging significant talks.
According to a company release announcing the launch of the AI-enabled call recording feature, Truecaller's use of AI technology allows users to participate fully in live conversations without worrying about taking thorough notes, which increases productivity when on the phone.

According to Truecaller, the AI-powered call recording feature will be offered as part of the company's premium plan, with monthly prices starting at Rs 75 and annual prices at Rs 529.

What did the company say?

"The integration of AI into the newly launched call recording feature marks a significant leap forward, allowing for a detailed transcription of the entire phone call, along with an AI-generated call summary," the release said, adding, "You can record and transcribe all calls, in English and Hindi, from any caller."

Truecaller Managing Director and Chief Product Officer Rishit Jhunjhunwala said, "We are constantly innovating cutting-edge solutions that enhance communication. As we continue to push these boundaries, we are thrilled to announce our AI-enabled call recording solution, which has always been a highly requested user feature."
