Samsung Z Fold 6: The next generation of clamshell smartphones from Samsung is expected to be released later this year. Following the July 2023 introduction of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, Samsung will introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6. Significant improvements over the present generation are anticipated for the upcoming generations of Samsung clamshell devices. Rumours claim that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 may be the company's thinnest clamshell smartphone.

Samsung Z Fold 6 to be the slimmest foldable phone

The anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is depicted in a mock-up in a post by X (formerly Twitter) user @RjeyTech, which was referenced in a Sammobile article. The book-style foldable handsets' hinge sides are seen side by side in the image. 13.4mm is the size of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 when folded. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 will only be 11mm in size, based on the mock-up.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be the thinnest foldable smartphone produced by the South Korean tech giant to date, with a thickness of 11mm, states the claim. In order to achieve the dimension adjustment without sacrificing the model's structural integrity, the business may also employ a titanium frame, akin to that of the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
