MWC 2024: The smartphone company Oppo unveiled a new device, still in prototype form, at the ongoing Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC 2024), being held in Barcelona, Spain. Unveiling the world of augmented reality, the Air Glass 3 is a piece of eyewear designed to introduce artificial intelligence (AI) into Oppo's product lineup. Oppo Air Glass 3 XR details

Through the use of a smartphone, the glasses may access Oppo's AndesGPT model, offering a "burdenless" AI experience. The Air Glass 3 has a refractive index of 1.70 and a self-developed resin waveguide. It weighs 50 grammes. Its eye brightness reaches over 1,000 nits at its highest point.

According to Oppo, these features offer the greatest full-colour display of its kind and guarantee an experience that is similar to using a typical pair of glasses.
In addition to supporting a touch interface for controlling music, voice calls, information display, and image browsing, the eyewear features an AI speech assistant powered by AndesGPT. Oppo guarantees excellent audio output, and it has four microphones that are intended to increase noise isolation.
