WORLD IOC Strips International Boxing Association Of Official Recognition The International Olympic Committee (IOC) on Thursday 22 June 2023 expelled the International Boxing Association (IBA) from the Olympic family after years of controversy over ignoring advice and guidelines. Boxing will however retain its status as an Olympic sport in the 2024 Paris Games and boxers will be able to compete in the Olympic Games.
SPORTS IOC is fully committed to organize Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020 IOC President said the committee responded in a very positive manner and he hope for the better response from the participating nations as well.
