Yogi Adityanath: 'Gangsters Now Wetting Their Pants In UP'

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath claimed on Saturday that the gangsters who kidnapped people by threatening to extort regardless of law and order, are now wetting their pants after being punished by the court. Actually, CM Yogi addressed a meeting after 'Bhoomi Pujan' of a bottling plant. Here he said that people are now seeing that those who did not respect law and order earlier are now running to save their lives.

According to the news agency, he said, "When the court sentenced him, his wet pants were visible. People are watching it. Mafia terrorized people, threatened industrialists with extortion, kidnapped businessmen. But today they are scared and running to save their lives.'

His comments come days after the MP/MLA court convicted Atiq Ahmed and two others in the 2006 Umesh Pal kidnapping case and sentenced them to life imprisonment. Atiq Ahmed has been punished for the first time in any case. While more than 100 cases are registered against him.

60-year-old former SP MP Atiq Ahmed was brought to Prayagraj to appear in the court. He was brought by road from Sabarmati Jail in Gujarat. Before leaving the jail in a police convoy, Ahmed had said that he was afraid that he might be killed. Atiq has again been shifted to Sabarmati Jail after being sentenced by the court.
