World Cancer Day: Today marks World Cancer Day and in recognition of this important day, the Samajwadi Party has shared a photo on their official page. The photo features former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav, with several dignitaries in front of a hospital. In the caption, the Samajwadi Party has made a call to action for the current Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, to continue to ensure the safety of patients receiving treatment at hospitals in the state.

It is important to note that the photo was taken in 2016, when Akhilesh Yadav inaugurated a new super speciality cancer hospital. The party not only shared the work done by them but also took a jibe at the present CM saying that the hospital was inaugurated during their government in the state. The photo was posted with the caption, "On the occasion of "World Cancer Day", wishing speedy recovery to all the patients battling it. The double engine BJP government should run the cancer hospital in Lucknow built by the SP government smoothly so that people can get better treatment."
