UP News: Lucknow-Kanpur Highway jams to end! Authorities to ban heavy vehicles, take THESE steps

UP News: Vehicles crossing through the Lucknow-Kanpur Highway will soon get rid of Jams as the authorities have decided to remove all the illegal encroachments on the route. A meeting was held to discuss ways to ensure less traffic on the highway so that travellers can have a smooth ride. Many angles were discussed in the meet and a plan will be ready soon. All the weekly markets will be shut in Gauri, Banthra and Chillawan on the Kanpur road. To solve the problem of traffic on the elevated road on Kanpur Highway, all heavy vehicles will be diverted before entering into the city.

Survey was conducted till Unnao Border

The meet was held to look out for measures to get rid of the huge jams that travellers face from morning till late evening. It has been decided to launch a survey till the Unnao border and then look out for ways to deal with the traffic on the route. The district administration and the Traffic Department also inspected the roads and discussed measures.

Unrepaired Roads of Junabganj area will be fixed soon

It has been decided to build the unrepaired roads in the Junabganj area. Alternate arrangements will be made for heavy vehicles. Vehicles will not be allowed to park in the service lane. Apart from this, the team will check encroachments and they will be removed to prevent the problem of jams.
