 Noida News: Initiatives to Ease Traffic Congestion with Underpasses

Noida News: Noida and Delhi witness heavy traffic daily, notably during the commute through Kalindi Kunj and Dalit Prerna Sthal. Noida Authority aims to alleviate congestion by not only making roads signal-free but also introducing new plans. A proposed underpass from Kalindi Kunj to Dalit Prerna Sthal, with CEO Dr. Lokesh M. supporting the conceptual agreement, is expected to cost approximately 190 million INR.

The tender for this project is set to be released this month, with construction anticipated to start by January-February 2024, enhancing traffic flow and providing commuters a smoother journey in the Noida region.

Noida Authority has issued tenders for Chilla Elevated Road:

Additionally, Noida Authority has issued tenders for the Chilla Elevated Road, which has been closed for nearly two years. The construction of the Chilla Elevated Road, connecting Delhi's Chilla Regulator to Noida's Mahamaya Flyover, is set to begin by January 2024, following a competitive bidding process. This initiative aims to eliminate jams on the link road connecting Chilla to the Expressway, bringing relief to commuters.
