 Noida News: City Restaurants to Offer Freebies to Patrons Participating in the Parv of Democracy, Check Details

Noida News: An innovative campaign has been started by the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) Noida part to urge more people to vote in the forthcoming Lok Sabha election on April 26. Consumers will enjoy special "democracy discounts" if they show up at some partner eateries with an inked finger from casting their ballot. This initiative aims to boost the number of voters in Gautam Budh Nagar by providing exclusive discounts to those who live in the area.

Initiative Details

Around fifty restaurants in Noida and Greater Noida have committed to take part in this effort to increase the vote percentage, according to Varun Khera, head of NRAI's Noida chapter. On April 26 and 27 these restaurants will give dine-in guests a 20% discount off on their whole bill as part of the "democracy discount" campaign. This offer, however, is only available to customers who have cast ballots and can prove it with their inked fingertips. They must also be district residents as shown by their voter ID cards.

Promotion Efforts

Participating restaurants are also encouraged to heavily publicise the programme on their marketing and social media channels. The purpose of this extra campaign is to raise awareness and motivate more eligible voters to take part in the voting process.

District Administration's Response

The District Magistrate and District Election Officer, Manish Verma also shared his thoughts by giving support for citizen-led initiatives like these which are aimed at increasing voter turnout. He Praised the efforts of groups like NRAI, he emphasised the need of enticing individuals to use their right to vote.
