Lok Sabha Election 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi spearheaded a grand roadshow in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) election campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP candidate for Ghaziabad Atul Garg, and Union Minister VK Singh, PM Modi embarked on a 1.5-kilometer-long roadshow that traversed from Maliwada Chowk, via Ambedkar Road, to Chaudhary Road in the city.

The roadshow witnessed a massive turnout, with a large number of enthusiastic supporters gathering to participate in the event and catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister as he passed through the city's streets.

Ghaziabad BJP candidate Atul Garg is gearing up to contest against Dolly Sharma from the INDIA bloc and Nand Kishore Pundhir from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) for the Ghaziabad parliamentary seat, slated for polls on April 26.

Earlier in the day, PM Modi addressed an election rally in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, where he launched a scathing attack on the opposition alliance INDIA bloc. Accusing them of aiming to secure "commissions" after assuming power, PM Modi reiterated the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) commitment to the mission of transforming India into a developed nation.

"During its rule, the Congress' focus was on earning commissions. The INDIA Alliance too aims to earn commission after coming to power but the NDA and Modi sarkar is on a mission. We are engaged in the mission of making India a developed nation. On the other hand, our opponents are yearning to get power," PM Modi stated emphatically during the rally in Saharanpur.
