Uttarakhand News: After Rains, Residents struggling with water leakages from the Ground, authorities assure action

Uttarakhand News: As the residents of the city were already struggling with Rain Fury, another problem has added to their misery. Many Residents are facing the issue of water trickling from their floors. The reason could be excess of rainfall in the city. The Residents of the Upper Ganga Nagar city are facing the problem of water seeping out from their floors.  Almost same situation is being faced by the residents of the Raiwala area, the people living here have noticed cracks in their floors and walls. Also the water coming out form these cracks. The Residents of Ganga Nagar said that around 4 houses in this area is facing the similar issue.

Residents demand immediate attention of Authorities

According to the residents, they fear the understructure of the building in which they are living might get weak due the continuous leakage of water, and this shall be looked upon immediately. However the authorities say that the Ground water level near the Ganga Nagar reaches high during rainfall since its closer to the river.

16 Water Suction Pumps installed in Water-Logged Areas

Many Experts feel that encroachment could also be one of the reasons as many people have encroached the areas around the River ganga which could also be one of the causes. The authorities must also consider this point while fixing the problem. Meanwhile the officials have installed Water Suction Pumps to control the flow of water and situation will be under control soon.
