UP News: CM Yogi to launch Cyber Police Stations in all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh, Report

UP News: In a bid to prevent Cyber Crimes in the city, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adiyanath plans to set up Cyber Police Stations across 75 districts of the states. Over 57 Cyber Police Stations will be set up in two months. Chief Minister also emphasized that cyber awareness should be made a part of School Curicullum also. He instructed all officials to make preparations accordingly. The Cyber Police stations are currently functioning at the Regional level.

'People should be more Vigilant while Paying Online'

CM said that the nature of crime has changed due to the Modern Technology. Today all kinds of cyber crimes are happening in the city, related to Bank Fraud, online fraud, shopping fraud, Crypto Investment fraud, Customer Care, Pension, Home Loan, Ponzi schemes etc. People need to be more vigilant and careful while performing money transactions through app or online, the cyber frauds are spread all over the city. Many educated and smart people are also getting trapped in online frauds.

'Officers dealing with Cyber Crime should be Properly Trained'

CM also stressed on giving proper training to the officers who are dealing with the Cyber crimes in the city. Five Police Officers from each city should be trained at the State level, this officer will train the other Sub Inspectors in each Police station of the district about the Cytrain Portal which is an online Cyber Training Module.
