States Tamil Nadu: Governor RN Ravi Walks Out Amid Row with MK Stalin Over His Speech Rafia Tasleem Jan 09, 2023 07:05 GMT Tamil Nadu: After Chief Minister MK Stalin requested that the Speaker only record the speech prepared by the state administration and strike the parts the Governor added to the traditional address, Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi today left the assembly. Registration date extended till Jan 27 Governor omitted passages from the speech The Chief Minister moved the resolution after the Governor omitted passages from the speech prepared by the state government that discussed secularism and figures like Periyar, BR Ambedkar, K. Kamaraj, CN Annadurai, and Karunanidhi.MK Stalin said that the Governor's actions were "against the constitution" in the resolution.
