In fact, a major accident took place in Bhungra village in Shergarh area of ​​Jodhpur district on Thursday afternoon at a wedding venue before the departure of the marriage procession, where 5 people died due to the explosion of 6 gas cylinders alternately after leakage. At the same time, 61 people got scorched in this accident. While the father of the groom is also involved in the scorching in this accident, there is news of injuries to women and innocent children as well.

According to the information received, the condition of 35 people is said to be serious. In this accident the whole house got burnt. After the accident, there was mourning in the wedding ceremony and in the village. It is being told that food was being prepared during the ceremony and many villagers were eating food. As soon as the fire broke out, the cooks left the gas on and ran away. Even the pipes of the furnaces got scorched, due to which more gas leakage continued and this big accident took place.

After information, a fire engine from Jodhpur also reached the spot. 60 injured were taken to government hospitals in Shergarh, Balasar and Setrava. Some people were sent home after first aid. While 51 injured were referred to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Jodhpur. By then two year old boy and four year old girl had died. The condition of 35 injured is said to be serious.

Incident happened before the departure of the procession During the wedding ceremony, shortly before the departure of the procession, at around 1.30 pm, along with the preparation of the bridegroom, the ceremony of netting was being performed at Dhani Chowk. Women were singing auspicious songs of marriage and food was being cooked nearby. Relatives and villagers were having food. During this, there was gas leakage in the rear cylinder and it caught fire.

It is being told that the cooks ran away from the spot. The gas started spreading in the dhani and during this the cylinder got blasted. It is being told that the gas had spread so much that with the explosion it reached the clothes of the villagers present there. In the accident, two gas cylinders kept in a nearby store exploded with a bang. The whole house caught fire. After the incident, sensation spread in the area and there was panic among the people. People started getting scorched as soon as they saw it. The atmosphere of auspicious happiness turned into a sad one.
