Lovepreet was found with 6 kg of heroin in his car, reportedly intended for transfer to another peddler, Navjot Singh, who had been arrested a day earlier. The operation, reported by Punjab DGP, is part of a larger crackdown on cross-border drug smuggling networks. The heroin consignment was initially picked up from Hanumangarh in Rajasthan, indicating an inter-state network with potential cross-border connections.
