Why are these raids being conducted?

In an ongoing case intended to dismantle and disrupt the emerging nexus between terrorists, gangsters, and drug smugglers based in India and abroad, sources added, the raids are being conducted at the residential and other premises linked to gangsters in more than six districts across these four states and Delhi.

Interrogation of many gangsters, raids are ongoing

The anti-terror agency is already keeping an eye on Lawrence Bishnoi, Neeraj Bawana, Tillu Tazpuriya, and Goldy Brar, thus the raids are concentrated on the gang connection connected to them. Following the NIA's interrogation of many gangsters, several raids were prepared.

Following a massive search operation that took place during the day at 52 places throughout the four states of northern India and Delhi in October, the NIA detained a lawyer from this country and a gangster from Haryana.
