Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, wife Gurpreet Kaur celebrate anniversary; AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal extends best wishes

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and his wife Dr Gurpreet Kaur mark one year of marital bliss today. On their first anniversary, a socio-politico-cultural evening is set to take place at Punjab CM’s residence. The event will see the presence of the who’s who of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) including MP Raghav Chadha, and Sanjay Singh among others. The Punjab CM has also invited some celebs turned friends from his initial days as an artist on this joyous occasion. 

CM Mann wishes wife on wedding anniversary 

Earlier today, chief minister Bhagwant Mann took to his official Twitter account to wish his wife Dr Gurpreet Kaur on their first anniversary. He shared a heartwarming picture with his wife with a heartfelt caption in Punjabi. “The only favor I have asked from that beautiful God,” he wrote, adding “Happy marriage anniversary to Dr Gurpreet Kaur Mann.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also wished his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann and Dr. Gurpreet Singh on their anniversary. Retweeting CM Mann’s picture, he wrote, “A very happy wedding anniversary. God bless both of u wid all happiness.” 

A gala event on cards

CM Bhagwant Mann and his wife’s first-anniversary celebration will be a gala affair with many political leaders and renowned personalities of the state marking their presence. A number of top leaders from AAP, including MP Raghav Chadha and Sanjay Singh, are expected to join the celebrations scheduled to take place at Chandigarh Club today. A handful of bureaucrats and police officials will also be attending the event, reportedly.

CM Mann and Dr. Gupreet Kaur tied the knot last year in a traditional Punjabi ceremony. The marriage was an intimate affair with only close friends and family in attendance.
