Patna News: After Tomatoes, Price Rise of other commodities bring tears to the Common man

Patna News: Days after the prices of tomato has reduced a bit, the other kitchen items are becoming expensive. The price of Vegetable oil, pulses , spices and wheat flour have increased in the city. The hike is from Rs 10kg to 20kg.  Due to this, the middle class families are finding it difficult to manage the Household budget. People were already struggling with the high prices of tomatoes for months and now suddenly the hike in the price of other commodities has disturbed the overall budget of the common man.

Prices of Vegetable Oil, other oils also increased

Many residents feel that this hike is unfair as the common man usually eats pulses, how will he run his family when the prices of these daily items will keep increasing. Prices of Mustard oil and Vegetable oil have increased by 10-20 kg per liter. The owner of the Retail store says, there has been less produce of pulses this year, this is why the pulses are being sold at higher prices in the whole sale market.

One Reason for the hike is Less Rainfall

The second factor resulting in the hike is less Rains. Due to less rains, the prices of onion have increased from 20 to 40Rupees per kg.  The sudden hike after tomato has moved the budget of the common man.
