Patna News: 91 inspectors cannot become 'Thana Incharge' for the next 10 years; here's why

Patna News: : Bihar Police Department comes down heavily on the 91 Inspectors and Sub Inspectors of the Bihar rank who were found involved in cases related to the Liquor Mafia and having connections with them on illegal basis. The Department has list down the names of these inspectors and sent them to the Police stations where they are posted and instructed them to adhere to the instructions being given in the letter that has been sent to them. The Department has also informed Bhalpur Head Office about the same. The letter has been sent by the IG.

The Punishment will be applicable for 10 years

The Liquor ban was implemented in the year 2016, and since then Liquor Ban has been implemented in the city. Over 91 Inspectors and Sub Inspectors have been deprived of being posted in the Police Stations. The names of all the 91 Inspectors and Sub Inspectors have been sent to the concerned Departments. The Punishment will be applicable for the next 10 years. The Department will take a call to withdraw or continue till the term gets over.

All Officers will have to stick to the Punishment

The other suspended Officers include seven Inspectors from Begusarai, seven Inspectors from Patna, 8 Inspectors from Rohtas, and 8 Inspectors from the Samastipur. They will all have to stick to the 10 year term of Punishment.
