Noida News: Looking to Rent Flat, Noida man loses 1.50 lakh in an Online Scam..

Noida News: A man was made a victim of an online fraud when he was trying to search for a Rented house in Noida. The victim was searching for a rented flat online when he came across this Property Dealer, who had even shortlisted a flat for him. The Property Dealer told the victim that the rent of the flat is 16,500 per month and the victim found it satisfying. The accused even sent him 5 Rupees online to gain his trust and showed him the receipt.

Victim moved to Noida for a Job

The victim had recently moved to Noida for a job and he was looking for a flat in Noida. As soon as the Rent and other formalities between both the parties were done, the accused asked him to sent the security amount online. The moment the victim sent him the contract money, he later received text message of a deduction of 1.15 lakh from his account.

Noida Police registers case

Soon after this he got another message of 1.50 lakh debited from his account. He immediately registered the complaint at the Noida Police station. The Police later revealed that the QR code that was given to him by the accused was fake.
