Meerut News: Jail Authorities Help Man reunite with family after 25 yrs, were performing Shraad for many years

Meerut News: Man reunited with family after 25 years with the help of Jail administration. The man named Jitu left his house when he was 20 years old in the year 1998 to be a part of the Indian Army. He visit Gujarat to participate in the army recruitment drive but couldn’t succeed. After this he left for Mumbai and lived there by working as a laborer for many years. He again tried his luck to be a part of Indian Army in Patna but unfortunately he was rejected. He then came to Delhi and started working in a factory for 11 years.

Man was allegedly arrested in Murder Case

After finishing 11 year service in Delhi, Jitu came to Meerut and started working with a farmer in his mango farm. A dead body was found in the farm in the year 2018 and police took Jitu into custody on suspicion of murder. Since then he is in Meerut Jail serving his sentence. When the man didn’t return after so many years, his family thought he is no more.

Jail Officials helped uniting the family

Meerut Jail officials were asked to prepare a list of those prisoners who were visited by no one. They made a list in which Jitu’s name was mentioned. They called Mandar Police station in Ranchi and found out his family and that’s how the family reunited.
