Madhya Pradesh News: CM Shivraj announces 1 crore in compensation to the family of TI Rajaram Baskale, state honour for cremation

Madhya Pradesh News: On Monday, Rupees 1 crore in compensation for the family of TI Rajaram Baskale was announced by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. On Sunday, Baskale had drowned in Jamner river while he was trying to take out a body from the waterbody.The officer was stationed in Nemawar police station. He is survived by his wife and two children, a 4-year-old son and a 2-month-old daughter.

Compensation

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated that Baskale was dutiful officer which he proved by sacrificing hinmself. He also said that Baskale's family is his family now and it is his duty to take care of them. "Therefore, the state will provide ₹1 crore Samman Nidhi to the bereaved family. I pay my condolences to him” CM Chouhan further added.

Rajaram Baskale last rites will be attended by Minister Prem Singh Patel on behalf of the state government and he will be cremated with state honours.
