Heartbreaking! Sagar Wall Collapse at Hardaul Baba Temple Claims 9 Children's Lives

Sagar Wall Collapse: In a heartbreaking event that occurred today at the Hardaul Baba temple in Shahpur, Madhya Pradesh's Sagar district, a wall collapsed, killing nine children and injuring numerous more. This terrible tragedy occurred during a religious ceremony, leaving the community grieving. Rescue teams are still searching for more victims feared to be trapped under the debris.

Horrific Collapse at 8:30 AM

According to ANI, the wall collapsed and fell on the kids at around 8:30 in the morning. Nine of them, regrettably, were beyond saving, and the other two are presently at a hospital getting medical attention. The situation was in disarray as local police quickly launched rescue efforts with strong community backing.

Emergency Response and Rescue Operations

Following the collapse, nearby citizens and emergency personnel acted quickly. Images from the scene showed an earthmoving machine working nonstop to remove the debris and free the people who were trapped there. The injured were evacuated right away for emergency care to adjacent hospitals.

Statements from Officials

Sagar District Collector Deepak Arya confirmed that the children were indeed trapped under the debris when the wall collapsed. He added that some children sustained injuries and are being treated at local hospitals. Thankfully, the debris has now been completely cleared from the site, allowing officials to assess the damage and continue their investigation.
