States Lucknow News: Heavy rains cause Water-Logging & Jams, schools to remain shut till Tomorrow Madhulika Rai Sep 11, 2023 12:03 GMT Lucknow News Lucknow News: After suffering from humidity and dry weather for many weeks, rains bring some respite and some chaos in the city with water logging and Traffic Jams. Water Logging in reported in many areas of Lucknow. IMD predicts more rains in the coming days. Lucknow Municipal Corporation workers trying to fix the water logging problem in the areas after residents were facing trouble driving and crossing the roads due to excess water. DM: All Schools Shut till Tomorrow Apart from Lucknow, cities like Moradabad, Gomtinagar also received heavy rains. The Parks and roads of Gomtinagar is also filled with water due to the heavy down pour. IMD announced more rains are likely in these areas Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Sant kabir Nagar, Basti, Hardoi, Farukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat and Unnao. Heavy Rain Alert is issued in Rae Bareily, Amethi, Ayodhya, Agra, Forozabad, Mainpuri, Itawah, Bijnore and Moradabad. The District Magistrate announced that all Schools are shut till tomorrow till further instructions.
