Lucknow News: 4 lakh Electric Vehicles, 7000 Charging stations to Come up in the City by 2030, check details

Lucknow News: The city will be gifted with over 4 lakh electric vehicles and around 7000 public charging points by the year 2030.  This move will improve the Transport situation of the city in many ways. With the electric vehicles there is a possibility of less Pollution and the charging points will help people in charging their Mobile Phones laptops and other devices. Currently there are about 45 charging stations in the city, out which 12 stations are managed by Private firm. To implement the scheme in a proper way, the officials of the Government department will work in coordination with the Municipal Corporation.

City has over 57000 Electric Vehicles currently

The city currently has a population of over 57000 electric vehicles. The 47000 vehicles are running through battery Powered three Wheelers. The numbers of Electric Vehicles is likely to increase by the year 2025.  And the vehicles which are powered by the green fuel is expected to increase by 4.18 lakh by the year 2030. According to reports, the Government is hoping to save 90000 per vehicle if the scheme is implemented.

Move will benefit lots of Commuters

The Lucknow Municipal Corporation and the Government is hoping that the plan will be implemented well and will benefit lots of commuters in the city.
