States Law enforcement agencies in J & K nab Teacher turned terrorist with perfume converted IED in J & K Nikhilesh Kunal Feb 02, 2023 12:58 GMT Jammu and Kashmir Police have apprehended a government school teacher turned terrorist and recovered a perfume bomb from his possession. While investigating twin blasts that rocked the Narwal area of Jammu on January 21, the police have arrested government school teacher turned terrorist, who is a resident of Raesi District, J & K. J & K Police nab terrorist in possession of a perfume bomb Police has claimed that Airf has confessed to his role in the attack on abus carrying Vaishno Devi pilgrims in which four people were killed in May last year. Director General of Police Dilbagh Singh revealed that Arif had links with dreaded out Militant outfit Lashlare-e-Toiba and an perfume bottle that had been converted into improvised explosive device (IED) was recovered from him. "This is the first time we have recovered a perfume IED. We have not recovered any perfume IED before. The IED will blast if anyone tries to press or open it. Our special team will handle that IED." Further Singh stated that Arif was working at the behest of Pakistani handlers and admitted to his involvement in the bombing of a bus carrying Vaishno Devi pilgrims that killed four passengers and injured 24 in May last year. Two bombs were planted on 20th Jan. Two blasts occurred on 21st Jan at a gap of 20 minutes to kill as many people as possible. 9 people were injured after first IED blast.
