Hathras DM Ashish Kumar informed that two bodies were recovered in the accident, while about 16 people are injured. It's the second consecutive day of a bus accident in UP. Double-Decker Bus Collides with Parked Truck in Toli Village According to ANI report, "A double-decker bus collided with a truck near Toli village of Thana Sikandrarao in Hathras. Due to the carelessness of the driver, this unfortunate accident caused two causalities and 16 injuries. According to district magistrate Gaurang Rathi, it appeared that the bus, which came from Motihari in Bihar, was overspeeding, leading to the rear-end of the milk tanker. An inquiry into the matter has been ordered. Rathi said 20 passengers with minor injuries were sent to Delhi in another bus with a total of 60 people. On being apprised of the incident, Hathras Superintendent of Police Nipun Aggarwal immediately rushed the police personnel to the spot. The personnel carried out a quick rescue operation to be able to save the victims of the accident. Second Tragic Bus Crash in Two Days Earlier, it was at 5:15 pm on Wednesday when the double-decker bus collided with a tanker. The accident killed 18 passengers of the bus. Nineteen are injured. Among the dead are 14 men, two women and two children. The bus was going from Siwan in Bihar to Delhi. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that officials concerned have been instructed to ensure the best treatment for the injured.
