The state continues to experience hot weather, with even brief periods of sunshine causing temperatures to rise. However, according to meteorologists, there is a forecast for light to moderate rain accompanied by winds and thunderstorms across most parts of Haryana between the night of July 17 and July 19. This is expected to bring a much-needed drop in temperatures. Rain Alert Issued for Several Districts The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for rain in several districts today, including Assandh, Karnal, Kaithal, Gharaunda, Jind, and Panipat. These areas are likely to experience light to moderate rainfall. In contrast, districts such as Ambala, Kaithal, Karnal, Panchkula, Panipat, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Faridabad, Jind, Hisar, Jhajjar, Palwal, Rewari, Sonepat, and Yamunanagar have received below-average rainfall.
