Haryana News: In a proactive step towards curbing drug addiction among the youth, the Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau (HSNCB) has introduced a groundbreaking initiative known as 'Chakravyuh: The Escape Room'. This project aims to dissuade teenagers from falling prey to narcotics addiction through immersive and interactive learning experiences.

The term 'Chakravyuh', meaning labyrinth, embodies the essence of this anti-drug escape room experience, which simulates real-life challenges in a controlled environment. The first functional smart classroom has been inaugurated at Police DAV Public School in Ambala, serving as a pilot for the project's expansion into other government and private schools across the state.

Utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), 'Chakravyuh' creates captivating scenarios designed to engage and educate young participants. The setup includes a series of challenges presented as a maze with five rooms, equipped with CCTV cameras, LED screens, and electromagnetic locking systems.

Participants, comprising groups of four teenagers, navigate through these challenges, each representing different life scenarios, including resisting the urge to take drugs. By employing their intellect and moral judgment, they must solve puzzles that convey specific messages about the risks of drug use and the importance of teamwork.

The project follows the principle of "catch them young," emphasizing early intervention to prevent drug addiction among adolescents. By providing an interactive platform for learning and skill-building, 'Chakravyuh' aims to empower youth with the knowledge and resilience needed to make informed choices and steer clear of narcotics.
