Haryana News: Haryana Government Launches New Initiatives for Workers' Welfare

Haryana News— The Haryana government is taking significant steps to improve the welfare of workers in the state. In a recent tweet, the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) announced several new initiatives aimed at enhancing the health and well-being of laborers.

One of the key initiatives is the introduction of 44 mobile dispensary vans, which will soon be launched across the state. These vans will provide essential health check-ups and services directly at mining and construction sites, ensuring that workers receive timely medical attention. The mobile units will not only focus on health screenings but also monitor the working conditions at various sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Over the past decade, the Haryana government has extended benefits amounting to ₹2,319 crore to workers, reflecting its ongoing commitment to their welfare. The latest measures are part of a broader effort to safeguard workers from hazardous diseases such as silicosis.

The mobile dispensary vans are a significant addition to the government's health initiatives. They will conduct health checks and evaluate the environmental conditions at workplaces. In factories where the work environment does not meet the required standards, appropriate actions will be taken as per regulations.

These initiatives underscore the Haryana government's dedication to improving the health and safety of its workforce, ensuring that laborers across the state receive the support and protection they deserve.
