Haryana Haryana News: Government Regularises 173 Unauthorised Colonies Across the State, Details DNP NEWS DESK Feb 03, 2024 12:20 GMT Haryana News: The Haryana government has recently announced the regularization of 173 unauthorised colonies across the state, with 44 situated in Gurugram district. This significant decision provides relief to numerous residents who have been residing in these areas without proper documentation and access to essential services. Regularization of Specific Colonies Under the Gurugram Municipal Corporation (MCG), 21 colonies have been granted approval, while under the Manesar Municipal Corporation (MCM), 7 colonies have been included in the regularization process. Notable among these are New Palam Vihar Phase 1 and 2, Avenue 69, Mayur Kunj (Nirmal Enclave Extension), S.P.R Colony (Kushal Nagar Extension), and others. Additionally, in Farrukhnagar under the NPP, colonies such as Jat Colony, Maruti Colony, Bharwal Colony, Sherawali Colony, and others have been regularized. In Pataudi Mandi, Anandpur Ashram Colony, along with two anonymous colonies, has also received approval. Flats for the Poor in 14 Cities Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar recently made an announcement regarding the availability of 10,542 flats for underprivileged families in 14 cities of the state. These flats are part of the Chief Minister Housing Scheme and are aimed at families with an annual income of less than 1.80 lakh rupees. This initiative seeks to address the housing needs of economically disadvantaged sections of society and provide them with a secure and dignified living environment.
