Haryana News: Former Haryana MLA Nafe Singh Rathi Assassinated in Ambush

Haryana News: Nafe Singh Rathi, the president of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) in Haryana and a former MLA, was fatally shot this evening in an ambush in Jhajjar district. Unidentified gunmen targeted the SUV he was travelling in, resulting in Rathi's death and the demise of two others, while two additional individuals sustained critical injuries.

Attack and Escape
The assailants, arriving in a car, opened fire on Rathi and his associates inside the vehicle before swiftly fleeing the scene. The injured victims were promptly transported to the nearby Brahm Shakti Sanjivani Hospital for medical attention, but Rathi was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Political Background
Rathi, a former MLA from Bahadurgarh, represented the INLD in the state. The Haryana police have heightened security measures following the shocking incident, deploying multiple teams to the crime scene for evidence collection. Authorities are closely examining CCTV footage from various locations to trace the attacker's entry and exit routes.

Possible Motive
Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his close associate Kala Jathedi are suspected to be involved in the attack, with preliminary investigations indicating a potential motive related to a property dispute.
