Alert in Haryana Ahead of Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha Event

Haryana is on high alert ahead of the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha event scheduled for January 22 in Ayodhya. Police have issued alerts in 7 districts, including Faridabad, Gurugram, Nuh, Palwal, Yamunanagar, Jhajjar, and Jind. Increased vigilance is observed in sensitive areas, particularly around temples and mosques. The main reason for the heightened alert by Haryana police is the past incidents of violence, especially the Nuh clash last year, resulting in six fatalities.

The Nuh violence, where two Home Guard jawans and four civilians lost their lives, has prompted the authorities to exercise caution. Several arrests were made, and internet services were suspended in more than five districts for over a month. Police advise caution for those traveling by train from Uttar Pradesh and are actively working to identify troublemakers involved in previous violent incidents.

Furthermore, authorities suggest that people avoid provocative messages and videos circulating on social media. Due to the sensitive situation, there is a possibility of preventive detentions before the Pran Pratishtha event. Increased vigilance is particularly noted in Nuh, Punhana, and Tauru, where temples and mosques have seen heightened security due to alarming messages and videos on social media.
