A few days ago the station was taken out of the influence zone by the Ghaziabad Development Authority. The matter was taken seriously after NCRTC started opposing the move by GDA. The matter was then carried forward to the Senior Authorities. GDA Officials asked to resolve issue soon GDA officials have been asked to resolve the matter soon and a decision on the matter will be taken within a week. Only after a decision comes, then it will be added in the Master plan. The Influence zone was established under the TOD Policy ( Transit Oriented Development ) when GDA was preparing the Master Plan. In this policy, 1.5 km radius of all stations are included in mix land use. But since the Duhai Depot Station is not registered by GDA in the influence zone. NCRTC argues that this is a station as well as a Depot. It must be included in the influence zone because the station has the facility of boarding and de boarding the passengers. NCRTC trying to include the Station in Influence Zone When Depot station is included in the influence zone then one and a half km radius will start getting mix land use with High Floor Area Ratio. With residential and commercial facilities in a single building. This is why NCRTC is trying to add this station in the influence zone. Keep watching our YouTube Channel ‘DNP INDIA’.
