Ghaziabad News: Police bust Fake Medicine racket, medications worth 8 lakhs Siezed

Ghaziabad News: Police has busted gang which was supplying fake medicines to the warehouses and seized Tablets and Pain killers kept in boxes which were used by patients for bacterial infection. Four people were taken into custody. These medicines were found in boxes which are worth 8 lakhs with 30 boxes of Augmentin 625 duo and  Ultracet .Police also conducted raids outside the Goods and warehouse. According to the Drug Inspector, they checked the medicines after opening the packing and sent them for testing where they were found fake.

Accused arrested near the Warehouse

The samples of other medicines were also sent and their reports are awaited. According to the DCP, the four accused were arrested near the warehouse where they were hiding near a shed. The accused also confessed the name of the source during interrogation from where they receive the medicines.

Police Questioning the Accused about other angles

Meanwhile legal team is trying to find if more people are involved in the gang and the source of the supplier. They are also questioning the store keepers where these people are selling the boxes for a long time.
