 Delhi Police Issues Traffic Advisory for Farmers Protest on 13th Feb: Plan Your Route Wisely Across Delhi and Haryana

Delhi Police Traffic Advisory: With the proposed farmers protest gearing up at various borders of Delhi starting from 13th February 2024, the Delhi Police have issued crucial traffic advisories to ensure smooth movement amidst potential disruptions. Understanding these diversions is vital for commuters to plan their journeys efficiently.

Navigating Diversions at Singhu Border

As one of the key protest sites, Singhu Border (Delhi-Haryana) will witness significant traffic restrictions and diversions starting from 12th February 2024 for commercial vehicles and from 13th February 2024 for all types of vehicles. Here are the prescribed diversions:

For Vehicles Headed Towards Panipat/Karnal etc. - Interstate Buses

Interstate buses destined for Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, etc., via NH-44 will follow this route:

  • From ISBT to Majnu Ka Tilla
  • To Signature Bridge
  • To Khajuri Chowk
  • To Loni Border
  • To KMP via Khekra

Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs)

For HGVs intending to go towards Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, etc., via NH-44:

  • Take Exit No. 2 on NH-44 (DSIIDC Cut) to Harish Chander Hospital Crossing
  • Bawana road crossing to Bawana Chowk
  • Bawana-Auchandi Road reaching Auchandi Border
  • To KMP via Saidpur Chowki

For HGVs headed towards Bahadurgarh, Rohtak, etc.:

  • Take Outer Ring Road from Mukarba Chowk to Madhuban Chowk
  • To Bhagwan Mahavir Road
  • To Rithala
  • To Pansali Chowk
  • To Helipad
  • To UER-II
  • To Kanjhawala Road-Karala T-Point-Kanjhawala Chowk
  • To Jaunti Village
  • To Jaunti Border/Nizampur Border entering Haryana Village Bamnoli
