Dehradun News: Four Hospitals served Notice for providing Wrong Platelet Report of Dengue Patients, Details

Dehradun News: In a shocking News coming from the City, four Hospitals have been given Show Cause Notice for submitting wrong reports of the Platelets. As Reported by Amar Ujala, District Magistrate of the city instructed the authorities to take action against the Four Hospitals for sending wrong reports. After the interference of the District Magistrate, an inspection has been conducted which found irregularities in the labs of Savita Goyal Pathology Lab, Panicia Hospital, Synergy Hospital and Kailash Hospital. Savita Goyal Pathology Lab reported a platlet count of 51000 in one of the Patients, while after cross checking with NABS lab, it was 2.73 lakhs.

All Hospitals asked to submit report with evidence

As Amar Ujala Reports, Similar errors were reported in the Pathology lab of Panicia Hospital where the patient admitted for the treatment of Dengue is found with incorrect platelet count during the lab test. These errors have been revealed during the investigation. All the Hospitals have been asked to submit written reports with evidence, and if they fail to do so, action will be taken under Epidemic Diseases Act 1897.

Doctors ask all to follow Precautions

Meanwhile the doctors have advised people to follow all precautions to prevent the spread of Dengue by taking a Healthy diet, do not let mosquitoes enter inside the house, apply anti mosquito ointments on children if they don’t wear full sleeves. Consult the doctor if you feel feverish and unwell and get yourself tested.
