Amit Shah: Amit Shah, a senior member of the BJP and the Union Home Minister, will speak to the poll workers in Rajasthan's Bharatpur division, where the party suffered a humiliating loss in the 2018 general election. Attendance at the conference, which will take place on the campus of Bharatpur College, is anticipated from BJP booth workers and the presidents of all four of the districts that make up the Bharatpur division- Bharatpur, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, and Dholpur.

There are 19 assembly districts in the division of eastern Rajasthan

The plan would involve more than 25,000 employees from 4,700 booths throughout the division, according to party sources. The Bharatiya Janata Party had won 11 of the 19 seats

The RLD and the independent MLA back the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress administration in the state. When the Vasundhara Raje administration took office following the 2013 assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had won 11 of the 19 seats. Given the BJP's "extremely weak" position in the Meena-Gurjar and SC-dominated eastern Rajasthan, the Bharatpur division is the primary area of attention for the party's top leaders this time.

Following the opening of the Sohna-Dausa section of the Delhi-Mumbai Motorway in February, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted a public conference in Dausa where the BJP attempted to solidify its position by enlisting support from eight districts in eastern Rajasthan. J P Nadda, the party's national president, travelled to Sawai Madhopur in April of last year to speak at a Scheduled Tribes'sammelan' that was attended by party members from every division. Later this year, elections will be held in the desert state.
