World Test Championship: How Pakistan can still qualify for WTC final?

World Test Championship: Pakistan's chances of qualifying for World Test Championship final has now close to nil with England sweeping them in the three-match Test series. This was the first time Pakistan were whitewashed 3-0 at home and the Babar Azam-led side need a host of results to go their way to have any chance of reaching the WTC final.

England dominate Pakistan

With the dominating win, England retained their 5th position while Pakistan slipped to the seventh spot. If Pakistan can win their final two Test matches this period -- they host New Zealand in a quick-fire series that commences later this month -- they can finish with a win percentage as high as 47.62 per cent.

Tough permutation combination for Pakistan

Pakistan would now be wanting Australia to continue their winning streak against South Africa and then against India as well. Well they also need India to lose against Bangladesh in the next Test match.

At the same time, the Babar Azam-led side are also dependent on New Zealand Sri Lanka series and West Indies-South Africa. The Blackcaps need to defeat Sri Lanka in by a clean sweep in March Test series.

While West Indies need to beat South Africa in one of the two Tests and the other needs to end in a draw.
