T20 World Cup: Shaheen Afridi's career best Pakistan to semifinals

Pakistan join India, England and New Zealand in semifinals of the ongoing T20 World Cup. The 2009 champions have defeated Bangladesh by 6 wickets on Sunday.

Batting first Bangladesh batters had a poor show and manged to put just 127 runs on board with opener Najmul Hossain Shanto being their top scorer with his fine 54-run knock.

Shaheen Afridi was the pick of the bowlers for Pakistan as the speedster picked four wickets in the game.

Chasing the low total, Pakistan yet again fumbled but later Mohammad Harris played a quick fire knock to take his team home.

Before the start of the game Pakistan needed an unusual favour from Netherlands that was to expect the Dutch to beat Proteas. Then unexpectedly Netherlands didn't disappoint and did a shocker to beat South Africa by 13 runs.
